Rosiello? Significant find from history concerning your family.

Greetings,
First, please allow me to inform you that I am not spamming you. I found your email address online after searching for the surname “Rosiello”. I have sent a copy of this email to a handful of Rosiello family email addresses I was able to find.
My name is Amon Nagi. I am a graduate student attending the University of Zurich in Switzerland. I have been helping the university with translations of old documents discovered in the Naples region of Italy. I have recently come across a personal journal from a man that I believe is your ancestor. His name was Giovanni Rosiello, a deacon at the Santa Chiara church in Naples. The dates show that he was living in the mid-1600s.
I am writing to you because these types of finds are extremely rare and I thought you might want to know something of your ancestry.
I have attached a few translations for you to sample. I thought you might be interested to see them. I have only translated a small portion of these journal entries so far. If you are interested in reading more of these, I am happy to send them over as I finish them.

I was surprised to hear from you! You are the only Rosiello that wrote back to me. I am glad that I have the ability to shed some light onto your family’s past.
As promised, here are a few more translations that I have completed. Life as a deacon in the 1600s does not seem very much different than modern life, except for the lack of social media. I will keep working on these translations and send more as I complete them.
