Weird how fast time goes, isn't it? Just a few years ago, the world was derailed in many ways by a global event that we're still dealing with today. If alternate timelines exist, then somewhere out there is a timeline where none of that happened. Still, time continues to tick away, and the only thing we can do is move forward. • A while back, I edited a scene in the novel that had unexpected consequences later in the story. It was quite the conundrum because the part I edited needed the change, which meant I had to find a way to account for a change in the story's past.
