Second draft sensory engagement
I've compared my first draft to my second (for chapters where I completed my second draft checklist) and concluded that planning my second draft was a great idea. Everything reads better and is much more engaging. I've given the first chapter or two to test readers, and they've had extremely positive things to say.
What's next?
More editing! Writing a novel is a marathon, after all.
What's new since last week?
- I've been eyeing a different product called ConvertKit. I think I might switch to it. It seems to have more of what I need than ActiveCampaign. Both integrate well with BookFunnel—which I use to deliver the free audiobook for my newsletter.
- I've completed a UI Toolkit for the retelling of my immersive horror story. Now, it's a matter of putting it all together.
