The Real Horror in Life: Hatred
I keep seeing news about the shelling in Ukraine by Russia and can't help but think of how much life and legacy are being destroyed. Everything that people worked so hard to create, accomplish, and put into the world—gone in an instant. This happens with all wars, going back throughout history, and doesn't require a missile, explosive, or gun; all it needs is hatred, and humans will then find a way to destroy what they hate.
What's New?
- The next section for Absolution Behind the Scenes is now up: Planning Using the Snowflake Method.
- In case you missed it, I made a fake drug commercial that evidently Instagram didn't like and slapped me with a warning: Nihilify
- Coming up next week: a classic horror film and a woman whose work you know, even if you don't know her (yet.)
- A couple of weeks ago, I posted up the Tamám Shud Case: The Mystery of the Somerton Man—coincidentally, the History Channel just aired an episode of their History's Greatest Mysteries show hosted by Laurence Fishburne, and it's all about the same case. Season 3, Episode 4: The Body on Somerton Beach.
