Walking With Crutches Is a Skill

Due to a sudden injury, I've learned how to use crutches over the past few days. No one tells you how much skill is required to properly use them. Learning takes some practice, but I'm getting better at it. We had some around the house, so I didn't have to go out of my way to get them. If you're ever around some and can try them out while uninjured, you may want to give them a shot, so you don't have to learn when you need them.
